Zannatul Ferdoush

Born in Bangladesh, raised in Japan and Philippine. Zannatal received her Honours Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Studio Art from University of Toronto. Afterward, completed Clinical Research Associate program. Zannatal have worked in Clinical Research, both in CRO company and the Hospital sites. She serves as a reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces. Zannatal is fluent in 3 languages; Japanese, Bengali, and English. Additionally, understands Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi at beginner’s level. On her leisure time, she enjoys boxing, sparing and bellydancing. Zannatal works predominantly in the medium of painting, calligraphy, drawing, photography and sculpture. Her work has been exhibited at the Bau-Xi Gallery Contemporary Fine Art, the University of Toronto Art Studio, the Shenkman Art Centre Ottawa, the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, the Areej Art Gallery and the Daniels Spectrum. Her sculpture installation is held at University of Toronto. Her work is often characterized as visually rich layers of detail, form imagery. She was a model and an actress of Toronto Max Agency. The themes of metaphysics, synesthesia and intuition weave through her art works.

Zannatal's work focused on creating state of tranquility through the balance of the consciousness and the body imagery that placed human psyche at the center of the theme. Her work is intimate, grounded and harmonious.
